More Brazil-inspired tribal sounds with Europe progressive house which is what makes Mission Groove unique. Bertolini & Rigamonti, DJ Boris, DJ George M, Dee-lite, Tune Brothers, Stephan Grondin, Kobbe and a revamp of a classic by Jellybean feat Madonna. *Dedicated to my new and amazing friend, Pollo del Mar*. Please follow her on Twitter!
This is specifically for one of my long time friends and supporters, JD Gutierrez. He has been a strong advocate for me during some rough times as well as caring and loyal. Plus, we’ve had our share of laughs. Thanks also to Ana Gori. She is a friend that I met online from Brazil a few years ago. She has been encouraging, sweet and also supportive of me as a person and with Mission Groove. I heart you both!! Enjoy and get ready to embrace the dance! xo
First there was “Dancing with the Stars” but now there is “Dancing with the Cloud”. Please check out this amazing short movie from the unbelievably talented buddy of mine – Daniel Cloud Campos. If you could also share this with your friends. We’re trying to help take this viral to spread the word about his talent. Thanks everyone!!
I actually provided this session on Soundcloud and through my private list a few weeks ago. I’m just now getting around to getting it posted on the site. Sorry for the delay! I did multiple edits of this session until I was happy with the entire version. This a trip into the darker, erotic side of house and tribal so I’m giving a parental advisory…not that my audience would care LOL. This one is for 2 very special people. First, Bart Clennon, who supported me back from the early days where I just started doing mixes and creating sets which he was always giving me wonderful feedback on then giving them to the DJ’s at Blu in Atlanta. One of the nicest, sweetest guys you’ll ever meet! Second, one of my newer good friends, Dan Lovingood, shares not only my passion for dance music, promotion, parties, etc.. but hails from right down the road from my hometown. He’s also got an awesome website which I’m sure my circuit audience would love for Zelus Apparel. (Use discount code “AdonisLLC” for 10% off!) Check it out!
I created this podcast to be launched on Valentine’s Day but due to time constraints and some last minute editing it was delayed by one day. Never fear, love is here and you can feel it in the rhythm and vocals. Unexpectedly I found myself listening to a bunch of Mya and Madonna tracks that somehow influenced my decision on what to include in this round. This go round is for my buddy Mike Killmon.
The mission to dance never ends. Stay with me on this journey. Tribal. Electro. Vocals. Dub. Progressive House. Thank you again to my longtime friend, DJ Tracy Young. You inspire me as much today as you did when we met 12 years ago. I love & adore you. Hope you all enjoy this set as much as I did preparing it.
It’s time to jumpstart your year with a new bag of tunes destined to having you werq’ing it overtime on the dancefloor. Featuring blazing vocals and tribal beats that are sure to make you pump it. Here’s to an amazing 2011. Thanks to all our supporters for helping drive Mission Groove through a prosperous and fun-filled 2010.
Merry Christmas everyone! This is the podcast finale for the year…but don’t fret because I’ve thrown in enough music to get your bells jingling on the dancefloor until the New Year begins. I want to dedicate this final set of 2010 to all of the original Miami gang whom I adore. First, my good friend DJ Tracy Young who never fails to inspire or to outdo herself. Much love to the rest of the Miami crew: Dale Stine, Hilton Wolman, Flavio Nisti, Art Rojas, Elaine Lancaster and Shane Rogers. Much love to all of you and happy holidays!
Like I have done in years past I decided to do a special Thanksgiving time musical event. As I reflect on my life I am so thankful for so many things: My health. My family. My friends. I have been so fortunate enough to be able to surround myself with loving, supportive and nurturing family and friends. You may have heard of their names, talent or works. I am lucky enough to call them friends. I love you Robbie (Martin), Niki (Haris) and Tracy (Young). My best friend, Brian Raill, is forever my partner in crime. Love you! You all have enriched my life for many years and I am much better for it.
I’m grateful for music which allows me to express how I feel in lyrics, beats and rhythm. Enjoy the Harvest!
